Marine Lance Cpl. Davi Marcos De Padua Silva, a bulk fuel specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 and 20-year-old native of Boston, was naturalized as an American citizen during a ceremony here, Feb. 10. Silva, a former citizen of Brazil, was one of 16 Marines who officially became citizens during the ceremony. Silva grew up in Paraiso Do Tocantins, Brazil, and was 9 years old when he immigrated to America in 2001. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2010.
