Two sides to a city. Homelessness alongside affluence, a common site in most UK cities these days. Here in Cardiff the homeless issue seems worse than ever with evidence all around the city centre. In this picture on a freezing cold December night in the shadow of the festive Winter Wonderland and only a stones throw from City Hall a homeless person sits wrapped in blankets in an underpass against the backdrop of one of the many upmarket city centre hotels.
