Autumn trip from Smaleel 1 that consists of De Ruyter (the flagship), Amsterdam, Holland (from November 11), Rotterdam, Sea lion, The bitter (between 8 and 22 November) and The inhabitant of Zeeland. A portion of the squadron departed from Den Helder, another part from Rotterdam. The journey went VA Brest, Gibraltar, Livorno, La Spezia, Lerici, La Specia, Gibraltar, Falmouth, Plymouth and Portland back to Den Helder. A Machinist of the 1st class (Mach 1) in an animated conversation with an Italian colleague.
