BANGLADESH (July 8, 2017) – Adm. Harry Harris, Commander Pacific Command (PACOM), lays a wreath at the Skikha Anirban eternal flame to honor those who sacrificed their lives for Bangladesh’s liberation in 1971. This is Harris’ first visit to Bangladesh as PACOM commander. During the visit he met with counterparts and government officials for discussions on military cooperation and regional security initiatives in the Indo-Asia Pacific.
