Harefield, UK. 8th April, 2024. Water runs across a country road in Harefield near to where HS2 are building the High Speed Rail viaduct for the High Speed Rail from London to Birmingham. HS2 have dug up fields, felled numerous trees and destroyed hedges in the area. Waterways across where HS2 are working are having to find new routes which locals believe is exacerbating flooding issues across West London and the Chilterns. Credit: Maureen McLean/Alamy Live News
