VIEW FROM THE PLANTATION
Roseberry Topping, North Yorkshire. Viewed from Great Ayton Moor to the south-east on a cold and windy, winter's afternoon. The warm light is deceptive, as the cold wind was whistling across the farmland from the north. The sun was setting off to the left and was soon to drop behind a great bank of cloud, so the window of opportunity was closing rapidly as I composed a series of exposures.
