Dec. 28 2006; San Diego CA USA; Dachsunds race toward a finish line in the national finals of the Der Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals a racing competition for fleet-footed dachsunds. The event kicked of the 2006 Big Bay Balloon Parade an annual event held on the day of the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl. The parade which was called America's largest balloon parade featured 23 inflatables up to 40 feet in height dozens of floats marching bands comical drill teams and a children's street fair.
