A top down view of the micro moth (Eudonia angustea) resting on a fence in a garden habitat. The flight period is July into late Autumn with individuals over wintering and appearing again in March. This species is a member of the crambidae family and is found throughout the UK as well as southern and western Europe. The larval food is mosses. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in September.
