The Paddington Metropolitan Borough Council Coat of Arms

The wolves' heads and the blue background are from the arms of Sir John Aired, first Mayor of the Borough. It is also suggested that they also refer to the fact that the last wolf in Middlesex was killed in paddington. The swords are from the arms of the See of London and the mural crown is a common civic emblem, together they constituted the device on the old Paddington Vestry seal. This coat of arms is found on a road bridge overlooking Little Venice near Paddington in London.
