The various subjects pertaining to home life are taughtunder the following heads: Course I.—General Hygiene,— Freshman year; first health is acknowledged as one of the prime factors ofsuccess in life; lectures and talks on this important subjectare not neglected. During the third term sewing is combined with the makingof simple garments. Readings, conversation. Courses VI, VII, VIII.—Dressmaking.—Sophomore wnth scissors, tape line, and needle finds in dress-making, millinery, home furnishing, a large field for theapplication of art principles to the living, moving canvas ofactual life.
