"Gods in Shackles", is an investigative documentary film that reveals the treatment of elephants in Southern India and shows the dark side of the pageantry of the festivals where elephants are exploited for profit. The executive producer and director is Sangita Iyer, who is also a journalist and has won six film festival awards for the film.
