Dish. Chinese celadon, glazed in a pale-green jade colour, was a popular export product for the Southeast Asian market. When it became less readily available in the 15th century, kilns in Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar began to produce their own versions of this ware. The thick green glaze on this Thai-made dish almost obscures its ornamentation of concentric circles and undulating lines.
