Retired Navy Rear Adm. Robert “Shu” Shumaker has his photo taken beside the original cell from Hỏa Lò prison during the grand opening of the Hanoi Hilton Vietnam exhibit at The American Heritage Museum, Hudson, Mass. Feb 11. Shumaker, a former prisoner of war, was shot down on Feb. 11, 1965. He spent eight years in captivity, three of which were in solitary confinement.
