Beach roses grow along the eatern seaboard, especially in New England. It's name is Rosa Rugosa and they are deep pink and white with large green leaves and the plant is spiney. Their rose hips are the flowers, deep inside that wildlife like to eat. Their stems have sharp spines. Visable in Maine, New hampshire, Massachusetts, they are valuable to protect the sandy beaches from erosian.
