A mixed media artist works with wire in her studio at Toi Poneke in Wellington NZ

Michelle Reid works in mixed media, often in felt and metal. Here she is working on a wire sculpture as a model for a larger work - seeing how the work would look and experimenting with construction materials. All work and material in the studio is hers. The studio is one of many in a Wellington City Council building; the whole building includes work spaces, kitchens, and a gallery, and is called Toi Poneke. I have a release for the artist and her works, but not for the studio building.
