An Ottoman miquelet-lock rifle, circa 1750. Octagonal barrel with rifled bore in 15 mm calibre. Aperture sight removed and replaced with a V-notch sight. Smooth miquelet-lock. Full stock thickly varnished with shellac and richly decorated with bone and brass inlays (small flaws). Brass barrel bands. Fore stock broken, minor defects and cracks.
