Ready to take its lunch home SCOTLAND HILARIOUS IMAGES show a brave kingfisher perched on top of a ‘No Fishing’ sign in Scotland with a fish in its beak. Who says birds don’t have a sense of humour with this little kingfisher perched on the sign in Kirkcudbrightshire specifically prohibiting anyone from fishing and hunting for a fish. When the bird finds its fish, it flows back on the same sign to eat it, talk about a rebellious spirit. These amazing images were captured by a 74-year-old British photographer, Jock Elliott, hailing from Brechin in Angus, Scotland. “I was about 100 feet away from the bird in shooting from a wildlife photographer's hide,” he said. “When I noticed what the kingfisher was perched upon, I couldn’t hold back my laughter. This whole moment was too funny and precious. “These are once-in-a-lifetime shots that I couldn’t be more proud of. I am glad I was at the right place at the right moment. “Seeing these wonderful birds doing what they love best makes me very happy, and the excitement you get just being able to photograph them makes the wait worthwhile.” ENDs
