NORTHWIND Cruise. Say "AAAHH" - Skeptical but cooperative, two little Alaskans submit to a dental examination by Dr. William J. Braye, Ase't. Dental Surgeon, USPHS, when the Coast Guard Cutter NORTHWIND touches King Cove, Alaska on her four-month cruise of the Aleutian-Bering Sea Area. Examinations of children and adults were conducted ashore and on the NORTHWIND. Considerable dental work was performed and some surgery. One of the duties of the NORTHWIND on cruise is to render medical services in cooperation with the Public Health Service.
