September 21st, 2017 - Paris Back again in Paris the protests against a reform of French labor law declined Thursday as President Emmanuel Macron prepared to give the changes final executive approval Friday. Police estimate that 16,000 people marched against the plan in Paris Thursday while unions say 55,000. The 39-year-old president said his election victories in May and June gave him the legitimacy to push through the reforms.
