Katumba drummers head towards the finish line ready to encourage the young children competing in the 2016 Santa Dash in Liverpool which broke the world record for number of participating Santas. Starting at Pier Head under the Three Graces (Liver Building, Cunard Building and Port of Liverpool Building), a UNESCO Heritage site, the Santa Dash heads through the city centre to finish outside Liverpool Town Hall with local drum band Katumba encouraging runners to the finish line. While most Santas wear red and white suits, the colours of Liverpool Football Club, 500 Santas wear blue and white suits - the colours of local team Everton.
