An early photograph of the French built 'Flying Flea' taking off at an air show. Also known as the Mignet Pou-du-Ciel or “Louse of the Sky”. it was designed by Frenchman Henri Mignet (1893-1965) who was a French radio engineer. The plane had a wingspan of feet, a length of feet and weighed 450 pounds -- Mignet Pou-du-Ciel ou avion « Pou du Ciel » conçu par le Français Henri Mignet (1893-1965) qui était ingénieur radio. L’avion avait une envergure de 19,5 pieds, une longueur de 11,5 pieds et pesait 450 livres.
