Sct Knuds Kirke Flakhaven Odense Denmark This cathedral which is next to the town hall from the late 13th century is one of the finest exsamples of gothic architecture in Denmark The building is named after the Danish king Knud who was killed in Odense in year 1086 In year 1100 Pope Paschalis the 2nd canonized Knud and he was now called Knud the Holy and gave name to the cathedral
