The Bornean white-bearded gibbon Hylobates albibarbis, Indonesia. An endangered species of gibbon endemic to southern Borneo, between the Kapuas and Barito rivers. Gibbons are social animals. They are strongly territorial, and defend their boundaries with vigorous visual and vocal displays.
