Anthony (1820-1906) women rights leader who proposed the 19th amendment to the US Constitution which prohibits United States citizens of being denied the right to vote on the basis of their sex and which was finally ratified in 1920, has her gravestone covered with "I Voted" 2016 presidential election stickers, political and personal notes, flags and signs of remembrance and respect from American women voters at Mt Hope Cemetery.
