Office chain of the rector Magnificus of the Catholic University. The silver chain was designed by the Albert Arens and performed by his brothers Rudy and Jan Arens. The links form the words Alma Mater Carolina and are alternated with medallions representing Thomas van Aquino, Petrus Canisius, Willibrordus and Servatius; Furthermore, sculptures of the faculties of God, the Klaverblad, Law Leaf, the Libra and the book with pen from the Faculty of Arts. The final piece is the weapon of the Dutch church province with the weapon of the university covered by the crown of Charlemagne
