Place bulb carefully inholder, and attach spring clips as per diagram. To Start Arc, close carbons together until a brightglow shines between them and then pull apart until thedesired light is obtained. Never hold the carbons to-gether longer than necessary, as it may injure the bulb. To Extinguish Arc, pull carbons apart until arcbreaks, or open line switch.
