HELMAND PROVINCE, Afghanistan (May 24, 2018) – Brig. Gen. Abdul Hadi, the Afghan National Army (ANA) 215th Corps deputy commander, speaks to soldiers with 2nd Kandak, 2nd Brigade, ANA 215th Corps during an Operational Readiness Cycle (ORC) opening ceremony at Camp Shorabak. The ORC is a two-month training course that is in part, focused on infantry and combined arms skills while developing noncommissioned officers to bolster the unit’s overall warfighting ability. The ORC allows soldiers to apply the knowledge and training they receive to their next assignment on the front lines.
