YOKOSUKA, Japan – A British Royal Navy Landing Craft Utility (LCU) approaches the amphibious assault ship HMS Albion (L 14) to offload amphibious vehicles for maintenance during a scheduled port visit at Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
