PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 30, 2016) An F/A-18F Super Hornet, from the “Bounty Hunters” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 2, launches from the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) flight deck. Carl Vinson is underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the coast of Southern California.
