An F-16 Fighting Falcon, from the 18th Aggressor Squadron based out of Fairbanks, Alaska, begins inflight refueling from a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 909th Air Refueling Squadron, 300 nautical miles from Guam, during Exercise Valiant Shield 16. VS16 is a biennial field exercise with a primary focus on interoperability and integration of joint training among forces.
