Berlin, Wittenau. Karl-Bonhoeffer-Nervenklinik mental hospital, Psychiatric clinic building houses a museum commemorating the mentally-ill murdered by the Nazis. The exhibition is called “Totgeschwiegen” (silent death).The victims of ‘AKTION T4’ were eliminated in order to build a ‘healthy race’. It was termed euthanasia by the Nazis and operation (AKTION) was called T4 because it was directed from a house on Tiergarten strasse 4 in central Berlin.
