A cased pair of Queen Anne flintlock pistols, England, circa 1740. Smooth brass screw-barrels with lugs in 14 mm calibre with cannon muzzles. Floral engraved brass boxlocks inscribed "LONDON" on the bottom along with English proof marks. Walnut grips with silver wire inlay, silver furniture decorated in relief, and grotesque mask pommel caps. Length of each cm. In a later, velvet lined wooden case with a lug wrench, bullet mould, and powder horn. Key missing.
