An Illyrian helmet, type III with smooth rim, mid-6th - 5th century BC, Skull made of thick sheet bronze with a smooth rim and a circular line incised alongside it. Face cutout with straight edges. The curved cheek pieces terminate into pointed cutouts which slope to a narrow, horizontal neck guard. Across the crown a hammered crest rail for the plume, laterally bordered by high, pointed mouldings. The front end of the rail with mushroom-shaped rivet, the rear end with eyelet to fasten the plume.
