At the root of the nose therewas a hemispherical prominence. The roentgen picture showed, as the cause of the enlargement of theskull, a thickening of the bone, spongy in character and chiefly in the regionof the frontal bone, and on the right side more than the left. The hyper-ostosis affected the outer surface of the skull and the root of the noseand amounted to 4 cm. in thickness. Case 2.—Boy, seven years old.
