Commuters in the center of Krakow are seen using a free public communication service. The free service is offered by the city hall to encourage commuters to use public transport and is connected with the air pollution, as PM10 concentration measurement are over the safe guidelines. The air pollution was declared very unhealthy and particulate matter ( ) concentration was 30 times more than the World Health Organization (WHO) annual air quality guidelines. The low temperatures forced the city inhabitants to heat up their homes.
