Double-naved upper floor with plant exhibit and Tapas bar. Milan EXPO 2015, Spanish Pavilion, Milan, Italy. Architect: B720 Ferm

Designed by studio b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos, the Spanish Pavilion is a light structure, dry-assembled using recycled and natural materials, making it easy to dismantle and reassemble. Inspired by a double-naved greenhouse with a characteristic Iberian portico, the Spanish Pavilion stretches over two floors, housing two separate exhibitions. On the ground floor, visitors can follow The Voyage of Food, an installation by multidisclinary artist Antoni Miralda, who offers a poetic reflection on the journeys traveled by food-products. The second floor houses 'The Language of Flavour' show, which enters into the mind of a Spanish cook, allowing visitors to explore his art, knowledge, and favourite recipes.
