The restaurant's website says: 'Thaikhun celebrates the street food sellers who are the real foodie entrepreneurs. Our passion is to bring authentic Thai dishes to the streets of the UK, starting with Manchester. To achieve an authentic Thai feel, the interior of the restaurant has wallpaper made from scraps of Thai newsprint, Asian Film posters and the innards of a street market such as bird cages and bags of rice, The exterior continues the Thai street theme, with a fence of bicycles and metal bird cages hanging from telephone wires. There is also a colourful tuk-tuk autorikshaw at the entrance (all seen here).
