St.:Peters Metropolitan Cathedral, or Tuguegarao Cathedral, Cagayan, Philippines, Founded in 1604 by Dominican Friars. The current church was credited to Fr. Antonio Lobato who built it between 1761 and 1768. It received much bomb damage during the second world war and was subsequently rebuilt by Monsignor Bishop Constance Jurgens. The cathedrals facade is whimsical and notable among its features is the broken and crested that is mirrored by other churchs in Cagayan Valley.
