The plants are (clockwise from top left): garden thyme Allium sativum; annual nettle Urtica urens; lavender Lavendula angustifolia (Mill.); sweet bayleaf Laurus nobilis; rosemary Rosemarinus officinalis; sweet basil Ocimum basilicum; and garlic Allium sativum.
