DE - BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG: The Blautopf and Blaubeuren Abbey (A UNESCO World Heritage Site)
The “Pearl of the Swabian Alb” lies near Ulm in the Blau Valley. Very famous is the Blautopf, the most beautiful karstic spring in Germany. The funnel-shaped pool of the spring is about 21 metres deep and has an intensive blue appearance. Beside the Blautopf lies the perfectly preserved Monastery.
