Blackpool's Decodance Illuminations include six illuminated burlesque beauties designed by interior designer, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. A view looking north along the Central Promenade, at the Lyndene Hotel. In the background of the shot stands the 32m (108 ft) tall 'Big Wheel' on the Central Pier, which dates to 1864 and was strengthened, at a cost of £75,000, to take the weight of the wheel in 1990.
