This twin engine turbo-fan jet is used for ground support against tanks and armored vehicle. The Gatling gun located in the nose fires 3900 rounds per minute. The normal combat load would include 1100 rounds of 30mm ammunition. The combat mix would be both "High Explosive Incendiary" (HEI) and "Armored Piercing Incendiary"(API). The API round has a light body contains a sub-calibre "High Density Perpetrator" of "Depleted Uranium" (DU). The API is made from "Deleted Uranium 235 and 238" with some Titanium mixed in and the entire projectile is enclosed in a aluminum shell.
