This isdone by heating about one-third of the circumference ofone end in a fire and then flanging this portion by handso as to fit the other sheets. The drop of the gusset Hshown in Fig. 40 being known, a straight edge is laidacross the top of the sheet as shown so as to obtain thisamount.
