Air Force Airmen assigned to the 621st Contingency Response Wing assemble a vertical pallet stacker prototype April 12, 2022, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The VPS is projected to save the CRW $22K per sortie for exercise and real-world operations by reducing the demand for aircraft pallet positioning by up to 50 percent. The VPS is an Air Force Research Laboratory project designed to promote Agile Combat Employment while promoting the multi-capable Airmen concept.
