Corporal Smedley D. Butler, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego Mascot, and his handler, Sgt. Anthony X. Leite, participate in the opening ceremony of a San Diego Padres game at Petco Park, July 15. After the ceremony concluded, service members stayed to enjoy the game. The Padres went up against the Chicago Cubs and lost 4-7.
