Eddie was at the Weymouth Sea Life Park to open a bird of prey showÉbut took the opportunity to fulfil a long-held ambition when he dived in a tank full of tropical sharks. ÒItÕs not something we allow very often, but heÕs such a good sport we couldnÕt turn him downÉand he did agree to do a bit of window cleaning while he was in there.Ó Eddie confessed afterwards that swimming with metre plus long black-tipped, zebra, nurse and guitar sharks was every bit as daunting as standing on the 10 metre board for his crown-clinching two-and-a-half somersault in ITVÕs celebrity diving challenge. ÒYou soon get over the initial jitters though,Ó he said, Òand from then on itÕs a really magical experience.
