ANTOIN BERG, contractor of lath-mill, Chippewa Lumber &Boom Company, Chippewa Falls, came to Wisconsin in i86g ; locatedat Lafayette, Chippewa Co., and was employed in a saw-mill there fouryears, then went to Badgers Mill, Wis., running lath mill for six years;came to Chippewa Falls in iSSo, and engaged in present business. Millcuts from 110,000 to 120,000 lath per day of twenty-two hours. Is alsocontractor of picket-mill of C. L. & B. Co., which has a daily capacityof 2,000 to 3,000 pickets. He employs twenty-seven men in both born in Norway, Aug. 18, 1842 ; married there, Sept. 5, 1869, toMargurite Olsen, a native of that country, who died at Chippewa Falls,May 12, 1880.
