The waxy excretion does not make its appearance in any quantity until some twenty-four hours after the winged form has emerged from its pupal covering. Migration. Experiments were carried out in Stanley Park two years ago with the object of confirming the former observations on the secondary host tree. Opening galls were placed in cages along with fresh branches of Sitka Spruce.
