The vessels are, electriclighted throughout, current being sup-plied by means of 7% , 110 volt,direct connected marine generator sets. An efficient two-pipe heating systemis installed, condensation draining to atrap, and thence discharged to a hotwell. Pipe coil radiators are fitted inall quarters. Boats are equipped witheleven ventilating cowls, those leadingto the boiler room being adjustable fromthe fire hold, so as to meet the varyingconditions.
