Armando Ramirez, deployed to Kuwait with the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, based 1185th Deployment and Distribution Support Battalion, watches the April 24, 2021 onload of shipping containers of ammunition aboard the Military Sealift Command container ship Sagamore at Kuwait's Port Shuaiba. Ramirez, who is a civilian fork truck driver at the Port of Long Beach, California, said he focused on safely loading the containers to protect the ship and its crew.
